From the Heart of the Andes
Long before the Inca Empire, Andean peoples were spinning and weaving natural fibers into clothing and textiles. Alpaca, llama, and vicuña fibers were especially valued for their warmth, softness, and durability.
In the Bolivian Altiplano, Aymara communities have carried textile traditions through generations, passing techniques, patterns, and knowledge from parents to children. Weaving and knitting remain closely connected to everyday life and cultural identity.
Living at high altitude also shaped these traditions. With cold temperatures, strong winds, and harsh winters, warm natural fibers were an essential part of life in the Andes.
Today, these traditions continue through the hands of Bolivian artisans. We work with natural alpaca fiber and local craftsmanship, bringing centuries of Andean textile heritage into contemporary knitwear.
Every sweater, has an artisan behind it.
Our knitwear is made in small workshops in Bolivia, working closely with 15 workshops and 50 local artisans who have learned their craft through generations. From selecting and preparing the alpaca fiber to knitting each piece, their knowledge and skill shape the final garment.
We work in small quantities and build long-term relationships with the people who make our pieces. This allows us to support local livelihoods while keeping traditional craftsmanship alive.
